"Rukia...would you like to have dinner?"
His sandalwood scented skin wondered over as he held his head low for a moment before speaking,
"O-of course, Brother!" Rukia exclaimed hurriedly, always more than happy to see her brother, she nodded and continued "What would you have in mind?"
"Extra Spicy Tuna rolls." He stated to the sister before him looking at her with his normally cold stare. His grey hues focused on the small sibiling before him, relaxing slightly. A pale hand reached out and handed her a menu.
"Oh, that sounds good — I think I’ll have the same." She declared with raised brows and her mouth parted in a slightly impatient manner, they never had time to do this, as family that should but they truly didn’t, and her nervousness was but expected, Rukia sighed and took the menu he handed her, nodding to him in thanks as her fingers took hold of it.
"Do you? Only the Arrancar? I am an Arrancar, and I have no intention of attacking you… unprovoked.” The same warning, in the same tone. “I am not here to fight you, Shinigami, though yours is a style I have never studied. ‘Twould be interesting, but alas. I do not wish to invoke your bad nature.”
She wasn’t about to take the word of an Arrancar, but he had no reason to lie, twisted as he may seem. Rukia digressed, her features lulling into bland stare, just before sighing “Fair enough.” She intoned with a nonchalant gesture of her hand waving.
It would be interesting…? She repeated him, and prodded over his words mentally with a scoff “What are you here for then?”
Threatening? He had hardly said anything of that nature in his eyes. Then again, Akashi had a rather sadist-like sense of humour, and found a shred of joy in terrorizing others with simple phrases. Blood-red irises rose to her before falling shut in impatience. ” I am not. You are taking words in a threatening way, when if I truly wished to bring you harm, you would be bleeding out as we speak.Do you understand, Rukia?”
Rukia tapped a foot slowly “You need to take social etiquette —” she sighed, her words correcting him and her face contorting with disapproval. “You shouldn’t speak of things like that, or people will take them in a threatening manner.” The man seemed earnest in his refusal to her accusations, but Rukia pursed her lips and gave a small nudge her head in disappointment. “I understand things fine.” She hissed and crossed her arms. “However badly I disagree with that statement.”
"Urahara, huh?" The name did not sound familiar, but having a place to stay was better than not. And if Cloud went off to deliver something, a shop was probably the best place to look. As usual, he wasn’t answering his phone. Perhaps this Urahara had seen him somewhere.
"Strange? How so?" Some of Tifa’s closest friends could be considered..less than normal, so as long as the shopkeeper was nice, she thought his oddities could be dealt with.
"Yes, he’s…uhm…" She tried but her voice stammered into a small murmur, her arms folded over her chest and she frowned furrowing her brow as her eyes glanced back and forth. "He’s rather shifty …" she sighed.
Rukia let her expression fade into a small persed smile and spoke again “You seem like you can take care of yourself, you should be able to keep him in line.”

Rukia’s eyes adjusted before her and she lowered her brow, her jaw falling in question, to just what the person before her wanted “Hello, do you need something?”

"Oh fifth division? Hello Tsukiyomi — what brings you to my office" She smiled gently at the face of another division member and raised a brow to ask what they had come for.

"A former Espada?" She raised a brow shortly examining the man. Something was different about him, she narrowed her gaze and murmured simply "What exactly are you doing here?"
Again the teen pauses, seemingly thinking over her words before saying them. in actuality, it is simply taking her drunk mind longer to process what she would like to communicate. Finally, “Being drunk… Is—better. B-better than being sad…yeah. L-lots—better.”
Rukia’s features softened “Retsu…” she tried though her voice trailed away from her, angry as she was before, the words her friends said now were far more important than any of that. “Retsu, why are you sad? Can’t…I or anyone help, talk or comfort you?”
The girl pouts at the ravenette, blinking ever so innocently. She seems to think very seriously about her next statement before speaking. “Would ya—still…y’know, love me if I—hic—was?”
"Of course I would!" Flailing her arms, Rukia growled her reply, frustration filling her every word. The crease between her brow grew and she frowned deeper "Why are you getting drunk, Retsu?!" Her voice urged demanding.
Toodles her finger around. “But—baby don’t hurt me~ Don’t hurt me—no mo’. Weren’t ya—hic—listenin’ Ru-chan? Hmm? I thought ya… Y’know, were listenin’…”
Rukia cocked her head “Ru-chan…?" She repeated confusedly, eyes narrowing on her strangely-acting friend before her, Retsu hardly ever seriously called her that. "…H-hey! Don’t quote that song like it’s an actual reply!" She exclaimed frustratedly "And I will if I have to —!" She paused squinting her eyes before gasping "Y-you’re drunk aren’t you?!"
Opens her mouth to respond and ends up belching. Quietly excuses herself before actually talking. “Because I, uh, y’know—like ta…?”
Narrowing her brow, her expression took the form of one that is beyond skeptical. “You’re a bad liar, now what’s going on with you?” She crossed her arms and her frown grew. “Don’t make me hurt you.”
"What is love—!? Baby don’t huuurt me! Don’t HURRRT me! No—hic—m-more!!"
May or may not have borrowed some of her mother’s vodka.
"Retsu…? What’s the matter why are you singing and acting this way?"
